Dr. Huerd believes in working closely with families to set realistic goals and help each child
reach their full potential—academically, developmentally, emotionally, and behaviorally.
Dr. Huerd is passionate about safe sleep practices, supporting parents through the ups
and downs of infancy, childhood, and adolescence, and advocating for her LGBTQIA+
patients. When she’s not in the clinic, Dr. Huerd enjoys baking, crafting, doing puzzles, hiking
(especially near waterfalls or mountains), enjoying snow activities, and diving into a
good fantasy book.

Dear Families and Patients of Willamette Falls Pediatric Group

Dr. Laura Lynn Cooley will be out on medical leave starting November 24th, 2025. We are hopeful that she will be able to return in January 2026.

During her absence, Dr. Ashley Huerd will be working in our West Linn office. We also have other providers available in our Oregon City and Canby offices to ensure continuity of care for all our patients.

Dr. Huerd recently joined WFPG and previously practiced in Michigan and Minnesota. She came to the Pacific Northwest for the beautiful waterfalls and mountains. She enjoys the full range of pediatric care and is committed to providing high-quality and evidence-based care.
