To our Patients and Families,
Summer is just around the corner, so get out your sunblock and water bottles—stay well hydrated and protect those little ones from the sun! Along with the (hopefully?) nicer weather comes several exciting new developments.
Firstly, we're extremely excited to make two big announcements to our patients in the Canby/Molalla area. Please join us in welcoming longtime Canby pediatrician Dr Anselmo Pizzuti to our new office in the beautiful new Canby Willamette Falls Medical Plaza. Dr Pizzuti will be see patients Mondays and Wednesdays, Dr Grucella will be onsite Tuesdays and Dr Rosborough will see patients Thursdays and Fridays. All staff will continue to be available to answer questions at both our new Canby office, 503-266-8500, as well as at the Oregon City clinic, 503-905-3400. We are booking appointments now!
Also, the entire WFPG staff has been eagerly training on our new Electronic Health Record (EHR) system. We've been putting in extra hours scanning existing patient charts into the new system, and you'll be sure to notice the new hi-tech wireless tablets in the exam rooms. (To answer one FAQ: yes, we use them for our charting and, no, we don't use them to check out our Facebook page when you leave the room…) Our "go live" date is June 9th!Switching over to EHR has been a question of when, not if, as more medical offices make the leap. As with any change of this scale, we’re anticipating a few minor bumps in the road as we sharpen our skills with this new form of charting. We thank you in advance for your patience.
July 4th you can come see us in the Independence Day Parade in Molalla. We'll be throwing goodies to the little ones, so don’t forget to refill your fluoride prescriptions! Oh yes and advance happy birthday wishes go out to Angela’s baby, due on the 4th.
Many of our staff are participating in the Portland to Coast Relay the last weekend of August. We'll be walking to raise money for cancer research. Contact Rose or Melissa to make a donation to our team, or better yet, click this link to do it online! Finally, be sure to schedule now for those Fall sports physicals. Avoid the rush this year and get those immunizations updated early!
